Great location with underground mall with restaurants, shops and access to Taipei Main Station without getting wet. Room was spacious and clean, staffs were friendly and helpful. Granted that the building is old, considering all other positive factors this hotel offers I will stay again next time I am in Taipei.

The hotel staff were truly wonderful—very kind, professional, and accommodating. My main concern, however, was the mattress in my room. It was extremely uncomfortable and felt like sleeping on plywood. Housekeeping kindly tried to make it more comfortable, but unfortunately it remained very hard and stiff and resulted in sleepless nights throughout my stay. I am not sure if this issue is limited to room 1626 or if it is more widespread, but I strongly feel the mattress needs to be replaced, as it greatly affected the quality of rest during my visit. Thank you for taking the time to consider this feedback. I appreciate the service your staff provided and hope this concern can be addressed for future guests.

The staff was exceptionally attentive and the service overall was excellent. The rooms are a bit dated but clean and well maintained. Unfortunately, the mattress and pillows were extremely firm, which made it difficult to sleep and left me with back pain in the morning. If sleep comfort is important to you, this might be something to consider before booking.

Caesar Park Hotel Taipei: Perfect Location, but Room View was a Major Drawback I recently stayed at the Caesar Park Hotel Taipei and came away with mixed feelings, largely dictated by the specific room I was assigned. The absolute best feature of this hotel is its location. It is unbeatable. The hotel is seamlessly connected to the underground mall, the Main Train Station (Taipei Main Station), and the MRT system, making access to the city and transportation effortless. For anyone prioritizing convenience, this aspect alone earns five stars. However, the room experience significantly detracted from the stay. My window faced directly opposite an adjacent office building. The proximity was such that I felt a complete lack of privacy and was compelled to keep the curtains closed at all times—day and night—to avoid staring directly into other people's workspaces and vice versa. This effectively removed any benefit of having a window, making the room feel enclosed and dark despite the time of day. The staff were generally courteous, but the privacy issue with the room was a constant nuisance. If you choose to stay here, I highly recommend requesting a room facing an exterior street or with a more favorable view, as the phenomenal location deserves a better room experience.

This hotel is rated as a 5-star hotel, but in my opinion it's more like a 3 star hotel. The only reason I have it 4 stars is because of how conveniently located it is, just directly in front of the Taipei Main Station. The MRT is also directly underneath, and a plethora of really delicious dining places just in the shopping mall underneath. My first impression of the service was checking in. Unlike a 5 star hotel where you are graciously welcomed, the check in counter was busy and the lady seemed annoyed. Compared to the 3-Star hotels I stayed at in Taiwan, this probably had the most mediocre service. This hotel also needs some remodeling. The place seems like it's owned by an old father who refuses to give his hotel to his son. The hall ways are decorated with old wallpapers and long mirrors everywhere. And the gloomy lighting made it feel a bit haunting. On top of that the rooms felt damp & furnished with cheap furnitures. These rooms can definitely use some dehumidifiers, it made the rooms smelly and a bit uncomfortable. There is a gym and a laundry room. The gym has very old equipments so don't expect too much, and the laundry room has only 1 washer and 1 dryer. The hours that it operates is only between 9:00am - 10pm which doesn't make any sense since most people are out and about between these hours. On top of that, trying to share one machine with the entire hotel is almost impossible. But would I stay here again? Yes! It's so convenient with MRT & Airport MRT.
