The hotel is quite worn down and the top-floor room I got was very noisy because of a big ventilation unit on the roof - making so much noise and resonance that it was impossible to sleep - even with earplugs on. I complained at the reception but they did not have other rooms. I even tried to find another hotel but everything was sold out. It basicly ruined my stay in Taipei as I did not get much sleep for 5 days.
Great simple private room and bathroom for a convenient stay. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from main station and the neighborhood full of unique little cafes and shopping. The hallway noise is quite noticeable for a light sleeper like me, but that’s my only complaint.
This is an ok hotel if you need somewhere to sleep for one night for a layover like we did. Otherwise it’s not great. The room is pretty tiny and the bathroom has mold in it because the bathroom is essentially also the whole shower, it’s weird. Can hear everything, inside and outside the hotel. Hotel served its purpose.
Hotel need renovation. Place stayed easily accessible to eat, drink, street walk, night market and metro train 🚆 station. Just for sleep and wash up is ok as most time you are out. Service counter staff are very friendly and courteous
