If you find yourself in Tabogo, this is THE place to stay. Arturo and the staff are so great. The hotel is very charming and the food is excellent. There is a room on the top that has its own private pool but it was occupied. Seems like the best room but ours was great and had breakfast right outside door on terrace.

What a great experience!!! The owner came and welcomed us with love!!! The property is beautiful!!! The rooms were clean and with fresh linens and amenities!!! We had our own private pool with 2 balconies that had a great view of the island and ocean!!! The food was amazing!!!The staff is very attentive and met all of our needs hand and foot! We had an amazing stay at Villa Caprichosa! Hidden Gem was a wonderful villa and Dianne and her staff were all spectacular. The food and drinks were also stellar! Everyone on the property contributed to a very memorable experience. Can’t recommend this hotel enough!

This was an absolutely beautiful place. It is super quiet. The linens are top notch and room was very clean. Although we had a ride to the beach there is also an easy 5-7 min pathway. The food was also superb.

A real hidden find for visitors to Panama City. Just a 30 minute ferry ride from the city, you will feel as if you are transported to a Greek island. The Villa has magnificent views of the ocean and is charmingly decorated. We lived our large terrace which allowed us to have a private romantic dinner overlooking the ocean.

Staff were very courteous. Pickup was prompt and I appreciated the smooth transport of our bags to and from the ferry. The Villa is certainly picturesque and the welcome drink was a nice way to begin our stay. Tasteful decor that was non cluttered. Clean and spacious shower, great big sink in our room. Something that was not addressed was a cigarette smell however which is a challenging odor for me personally to ignore. I figure the prior guest may have smoked in the suite or close enough to leave a trace. I tried my hardest to air the space out to make it more comfortable. The room was nice and cool, not too dry or humid. The restaurant music sounded like AI generated covers of popular western songs, I believe the genre could have been more authentic and suitable to Panama. Dinner was yummy nonetheless and I enjoyed a lovely cappuccino from the kind attendants at breakfast.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE

This place is amazing. I can’t stop thinking about it. We were looking for a peaceful place to be for the weekend and I have to say Villa Caprichosa didn’t disappoint us. From Diane the owner, Arturo the property manager to every single person that works there were so nice and attentive to every single detail. We are so happy we found this place and can’t wait to go back. The food, transportation, service, the beautiful rooms, the privacy everything surpassed our expectations. We are certainly going back.

This was the second time my wife and I stayed at Villa Caprichosa and we absolutely love it. Nadgee immediately recognized us as returning guests when she picked us up at the dock and greeted us with a warm, welcoming smile. I am sure she sees and meets numerous people but that alone got our visit off to a great start. Once we were at the property it was like being in our own private oasis. The first night we stayed in the Champagne Diamond which offers a private terrace overlooking the island and gave amazing views. The rest of our visit was spent in the Hidden Gem suite and I cannot express how much we enjoyed it. From the separate sitting room to the private pool to the private balcony with beach chairs perfect for enjoying the delicious Pina Coladas made by Basilio the bartender, we were thoroughly impressed with the property even more than on our initial visit. Anytime we wanted food, drinks or a ride somewhere on the island both Basilio and Christopher happily took care of us without delay. It was a truly incredible experience. If you ever have the opportunity to visit Taboga Island do it and do yourself a favor by staying at Villa Caprichosa. You will not be disappointed with whichever villa or suite you choose. And if you're lucky you'll get to meet Diane Burn, the owner who oversees this spectacular property. Taboga Island has become our go-to getaway location and Villa Caprichosa is where we will always stay. We look forward to returning for years to come.

Friendly above and beyond staff right from the moment they pick you up at the dock. The hotel is a beautiful chic boutique property with an exclusive euro vibe. Our stay here was our dream vacation. We absolutely loved our room and the view and the food and the staff and Taboga. Special touches were the coffee makers in the room, ready access to cappuccinos and drinks and delicious food, the absolutely beautiful dining areas with the little lamps on the tables, the heated pool in our room, hot showers, our own terrace with a gorgeous view, the greenery everywhere, the beautiful string lights, the sidewalks winding up the hill, the beautiful weather, and the staff who was amazing including Arturio who was so helpful. Could not recommend this place more and we would love to come back!!
