"The hotel is convenient. Room is clean. I liked the washing machine. The cleaning lady returned my Mac book after I checked out. That was extra appreciated!"
"This hotel is in a prime location, where you can walk to tourist spots and business streets nearby. Excellent services(check-in and check-out, restaurant, daily room cleaning). As a newer hotel, facilities are still in great shape. Breakfast buffet offers both Chinese and western styles. Although the restaurant is not as big as some other similar hotels, its options are plenty and fresh.
We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it to those who would like to explore old town area(Gusu). "

major tourist attractions. Plenty of dining options opposite hotel. Cafes nearby. Beds were comfy. Shower room very spacious and good water pressure. Ample storage space. There’s a sofa settee and table which is really nice. Overall, big rooms at a good location. "

"The Marriot Suzhou is at a quiet area away from commercial area. You need to take a taxi to the close by shopping areas and tourist attraction. Other than this, the stay in Marriot Suzhou can be considered as perfect.
Check in was a bit disappointing. The staff handling the check in was probably not trained properly. She informed that all is done and passed us the room key to go to our room. While walking to the lift, she suddenly rushed to us to tell us to make payment for the stay first....
"It was so nice and service was amazing. Only complaint was that the room lighting was very dim. Hard to get good lighting in front of the mirrors and sometimes hard to see when I needed to do work"
"This is one of the most spectacularly designed hotels I have ever experienced. And I've been around. It feels like a garden oasis and museum just as much as a hotel. No cost to create a mesmerizing interior was spared. A far cry from the typical 5 star tower with predictable, boring environment. Breakfast was adequate but a little lame considering that everything else is just amazing here."
