"If you want a bed for a night and don’t want anything super fancy in the area, choose here. The owner was friendly, the bed was comfortable. You really can’t argue for the price. Loved it, I would definitely stay again next time I’m visiting friends in Mansfield."

"The room had cob webs, bathroom flooring was cracked and broken. The flooring its self in the bedroom was awful and made of plastic, no decent size wardrobe its a slot at the side of the bed hidden and the kettle was hidden in the other slot of the bed on the other side. Table was marked and just awful. My TV was interrupted 2 times by someone sending there apple code to connect. This was a quick over night stay as a stop off. I will never stay here again. "The room, a junior suite, was most comfortable but sadly lacking in air-conditioning, although the current heat wave has been exceptional. Lovely views, peaceful, apart from the noise of the butterflies, all that one could wish for. For the price the owners may want to consider replacing the square of soap with refillable pump dispensers and providing a loo brush! "The room was lovely with a two seater sofa, spotlessly clean. Nice tea and coffee facilities. The breakfast was outstanding. Lots of choice really nice quality food and very nicely cooked. The evening meal that we had there was also very good. Nice play area for children. I would add the pub had air conditioning, fantastic in the hot weather enjoying a nice glass of wine. Lots of space in the pub, good layout with different rooms and in my opinion a big bonus plenty of parking. ...

"Breakfast was very good and the staff there were very helpful and polite. My bed was comfy, but the bedroom and bathroom lacked a bit more attention. We were welcomed by reception staff politely and professionally. We were offered some delicious cookies and included people with allergies, which I found very nice."

"The room I had was at the top of the property and as such was a little warm but would have been unbearable if the weather had been hotter. The room was okay, rather dark until the morning when the sun made it very bright, too bright in fact. Parking was easy. Staff were helpful and super friendly. There was an event on in the evening which meant food took rather long to arrive but was o wasn’t charged for it was an unexpected bonus. Overall a nice enough stay."
