"This is a standard, mid-range hotel on a business park. Telford town centre is a 10-minute walk away. It is a modern retail centre, dominated by the big brands with no independent shops/restaurants/pubs. Fine, if that's your thing. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was generous but standard. This is a one-night stay hotel for a specific purpose, not a tourist hotel"

"A beautiful hotel in a wonderful place; 5 minutes walk along the River Severn to Ironbridge is like being in a dreamworld on a summer’s evening. The attentiveness from the staff was fantastic and the restaurant food was superb, especially in the evenings. A great place for anyone to stay and explore Coalbrookdale and Ironbridge."

"The guest house was impeccable, with excellent communication and information regarding its location and local attractions provided even before our arrival. Truly exceptional service. Upon our arrival, everything was beautiful. The entire house was spotless and exceeded all expectations. We enjoyed a lovely country walk into Ironbridge, and convenient parking was available at the property. Our room was immaculate, offering tea and coffee, toiletries, fluffy towels and a selection of pillows...

"The hotel was in need of some tender loving care. It had clearly been a formidable building in its day and stood in extensive grounds but 3 centuries of wear have not been kind. There was no problem with cleanliness and the staff were excellent. We felt welcome from the moment we arrived. We chose this hotel because of the leisure facilities and we were not disappointed. The swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi were invigorating. The steam room was out of order during our stay but that did not...
