"Late check in was handy, I arrived about 11pm as was the bar staying open until 2 am!! Air con was v.noisy so was left with choice of being boiling (with AC off), not being able to sleep because of noise, or opening the windows and listening to M5. I choose the second option."

"The breakfast times could have been later, as finished at 9am on Monday. The bar was supposed to close at 11pm but was closed by 10.15pm. The rooms were basic and shower not powerful. However, were clean and still had everything that was needed. Lots of choice of food and drink and fresh."

Staff are very helpful and polite One point - cooked breakfasts on my 2x mornings did take a while (40-45 minutes) - so just leave yourself enough time, just in case Overall, I'll definitely go back"

"Lovely hotel - clean, well maintained, excellent breakfast. VERY hot in a heatwave, (admittedly - likely not a problem for most of the year!) They did put fans in every room, and spaced them out throughout the hallways to try to keep the air moving. But be aware there no Aircon in the rooms if it's looking to be a hot one! Otherwise, I cannot fault anything though."

"Check in could be improved. Arrived to a busy pub with customers waiting for service at the bar and no designated check in desk. Several staff just walked past us with our bags and no one acknowledged we were trying to check in for several minutes. The room was okay but not as shown on our booking confirmation - it was an attic room with very steep stairs and a not very safe landing area outside the door. The bathroom had been shoehorned in under a sloping ceiling - there was no shower, just...

"We had a wonderful stay. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which offered a great selection. A special mention goes to Rachel at the bar, who was friendly, professional, and made our evenings enjoyable with her warm conversation. The lady at reception was also lovely and provided us with all the information we needed on arrival. All the staff were welcoming, attentive, and made us feel at home throughout our stay.
