"Excellent location, good sized room with mini fridge and microwave. Staff very professional , accommodating and excellent cleaning service. Our room had a smell coming from a bathroom pipe and staff promptly checked and fixed it. Upper management should invest in renovating the hotel carpets since they are very dated. Airport shuttle very convenient as well- Overall great stay in La Quinta, thank you!"

"The property was very convenient to everything in Salem including the short walk to the commuter rail depot to Boston. Our room and the bathroom were very small, which was disappointing since we stayed there 5 nights. When we checked in I asked the desk attendant if we could get a bigger room and she told me I should have done this request with Expedia prior to checking in. I was ot happy with her attitude and unresponsiveness. In summary it is a great historic hotel and very convenient."

"This place for being seven years old was absolutely outstanding I couldn't have been happier. i do highly recommend checking the prices of the mini bar.Because that was super expensive, and we didn't even drink alcohol out of it. I understand why they have to do it.So I am not complaining whatsoever. That place is so absolutely gorgeous, from the view to the cleanliness they get an absolutely ten plus plus in my book!!! I will be visiting again"

"The hotel was nice & in a convenient location for visiting central Boston. There's a handy 7/11 and some resturants within walking distance. The staff were all lovely. On the negative side the lifts were broken for my entire stay, never even seen anyone attempting to fix them. There was a private party and a lot of noise in the corridor around 1am and my card didn't work every single time I went back to my room, so I had to trail back downstairs (no lifts remember) to reception each time, often with shopping bags - this was annoying. After a full day out it's the last thing you need."
