"My two adult daughters and I recently needed to spend one night in this area of Somerset. The Old Manor House is conveniently situated for easy access to all areas around Axbridge, Weston-super-Mare and Burnham on Sea and is reasonably priced. It provided us with a large and very comfortable family room, with plenty of space, the usual coffee/tea facilities, a mini fridge - with fresh milk available from the downstairs lobby - and a lovely en suite shower room. Downstairs, we did not use the...

"Everything fine for a one night stop over, pub close by for a night cap. Only thing that spoiled it for me was the selfish people who arrived at 3.30am making a right racket. Not sure why people can’t be more considerate, but that’s a human problem not the accommodations problem!!"

"We had a lovely warm welcome from our lovely host who was so helpful and made us feel at home . It is a cosy , peaceful ,homely place with good vibrations . It was great to have the use of a shared kitchen, to cook a meal anytime! We helped ourselves to a continental breakfast and enjoyed the peaceful dining area overlooking the Tor! Next door is the comfy crystal room which was so very relaxing and rejuvenating. We were unsure about the shared bathrooms but no problem they were always free...

"Cosy traditional b&b room above the pub itself, surprisingly quiet (never heard a sound) even though the pub below is a very popular place and full every night. Nice breakfast, good evening meal, can’t fault the place. Patrick and the locals were very friendly, we happily chatted amongst them all evening on both nights we stayed. All in all a very good time, would we stay again? Absolutely no problem at all."

"So clean, our room was immaculate so were all the other areas of the hotel. Really lovely stay, fabulous breakfast and dinner!"

"Amazing place, people accommodation and food, and let’s not forget the farm shop! I won’t go in to detail just go stay there and see for yourself. Truly wonderful and will be back one day. Thanks Ian 👍"

"On arrival the reception was awful with staff unable to access records but their attitude was very off hand towards us. The room was clean but badly set up. For instance, the double bed was only accessible from one side; there was nowhere for storage of cases etc. and the only area to hang clothes was a row of five hooks, three of which overhung the box on which the kettle and cups etc. were kept; the shower cubicle was missing one of its two doors; the sink in the toilet was so restricted by a...
