"The hotel was lovely very nice room and spa facilities were good. Pool a bit small but perfect for a dip. Unfortunately the music from the reception area was booming all day and night so I got little to no sleep. Very disappointing when on a business trip and needing to be well rested the next day. "Extremely personable landlord, Craig. Room was prepared ready for us to check in early (off to a wedding after a long drive) and sandwiches provided on request which was very much appreciated. The room and bathroom were spacious and nicely decorated and the bed very comfortable. Little communal kitchen area provided everything needed for a late night snack and breakfast which was a nice touch. Heard from local friends at the wedding that the food is great too. "Ideal for a 1 night stay. May need to explain that when they say ‘breakfast included’, its a basket including cereals, croissants, biscuits and yoghurt. Not actually a hot breakfast or a breakfast menu in the pub. Lovely staff. Nice and clean room."

"Clean room, good free car park, good choice of beers, good choice of pub food, great choice of breakfast"

"The building itself is beautiful. The bed was very comfy. Tea and coffee packs and a kettle available. Plenty of hot water. Quiet surroundings. We walked around the gardens and then walked to the local pub which is in easy walking distance. Breakfast was very good with lots of choices served buffet style. Park and ride into Cambridge is available just up the road and property is very close to the American Cemetery."

There were a lot of spiders in the room which isn’t necessarily the hotels fault, it did make the stay less enjoyable as both my young daughters were a bit scared.
