The hotel itself was immaculate and well presented. The breakfast was outstanding. The room itself was comfortable. The beds were extremely comfortable and good pillows.... not many hotels offer that. We stayed here to go to alton towers so was perfect location. We without a doubt will be staying here again and would recommend...

The buffet style breadfast was plentiful and well cooked. The hotel is very close to the centre of town. Ideal if going to the Regent Theatre as it is only a short 5 minute walk away. Would recommend this hotel if staying in Stoke"

"If you can look past the area that the 'George Hotel' is in then you have a beautiful old building with a very interesting history behind it. Yes the property could do with some investment and renovation, but the building inside was clean and the rooms were clean. The staff were all very friendly. In its hayday this would have been a wonderful building"
