"We stayed here for one night after a day in Winchester. A nice enough hotel, with staff pleasant enough. The room we stayed in was small but well kept. The main issue we had was that the room was that next to a staff run through, meaning doors were slammed constantly. Further, there was no air conditioning, and the room we were in at the bottom floor was next to a busy beer table and had lots and lots of mosquitoes, meaning we were bitten to heck! "Central location with easy access to the New Forest and Romsey Abbey. The whole property is pristine and thoughtfully laid out. The breakfast is excellent. "

Everything from a continental breakfast to a full English breakfast- wonderful. The location was a 2 min walk to the train/bus station; perfect for our arrival and pick up for bus tour to Stonehenge. And the Cathedral w/ a viewing of the Magna Carta was walking distance (abt 9 mins) from the Caboose; very nice location indeed. "

"We had a lovely stay and were made to feel extremely welcome. The room was very clean, modern and comfortable. Walking distance from town and close to multi-storey carpark, which was useful. There was a great selection for breakfast and it was possible to choose what you wanted for a cooked breakfast. Fantastic, quirky stay with mugshots of criminals lining the walls and prison doors into rooms. Would definitely stay again"

"Parking was free and easily accessible. Shops in the city centre were very close and easy to walk to. The room was 'tired' and a little grubby - marks on bed base, chair very stained. Nice buffet style breakfast."
