"The exterior of the Inn could benefit from some improvements. First impressions matter, and on arrival we were concerned it might be a little run down. Thankfully, this wasn’t the case — our room was pleasant, comfortable, and spacious enough for a one‑night stay. The only downside was that the coffee and tea facilities were very limited, with just two sachets and a few milk capsules, and as the Inn closes early there was no staff around in the evening to ask for more. "The food was excellent both at the pub/ restaurant and cafe and the staff were friendly. We have travelled a lot and I’ve never felt so mis-led about a property. The hotel has no access to the lake or the lovely grass yard in front of it. It is almost completely enclosed by a 6ft high fence with “no access” signs all over it that are pretty much what you are looking at. "This is a little gem! Convenient to all of our excursions . The bed was heaven! Great pillows! A fan was provided. Bathrooms were clean with good smelling products. I like that our room had a separate toilet room from shower room. There were plenty of places to store luggage, clothes, etc. They provide earplugs in case it gets too loud downstairs, but we didn’t really need them. "Leider war unser erster Eindruck vom Zimmer sehr enttäuschend. Im Zimmer roch es unangenehm muffig, im Fensterbereich war deutlich Schimmel vorhanden, und im Bett befanden sich Haare. Einen solchen Zustand hatten wir bei einem Hotelzimmer nicht erwartet. Die entsprechenden Bilder füge ich der Bewertung bei. Nachdem ich mich an der Rezeption beschwert hatte, reagierte die Mitarbeiterin dort sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie zeigte uns zwei alternative Zimmer, aus denen wir auswählen konnten....
