"THis is really one of the most amazing hotels, I have ever stayed in. Small, warm, with excellent restaurant and warm and very kind owner family (we had a chance to speak with lady and her son). We had an amanzing dinner at the pub, with fantastic food, but moreover memorable atmosphere of real pub - something that I have seen only in films before - people of all generations (from 5 to 95 years) were having great fun. Really, it was an experience to remember."

"Had to book this on the spur of the moment as the place we had booked bore no resemblance to Hotels.com website. Holly gave us a choice of 2 rooms and also spent some time with us identifying local things to do and see. "Fine for my one night stay. A little bit dated but reasonably near to the town centre and with its own parking. Nice breakfast including vegan options. Very friendly staff. I can’t comment on the bar and restaurant as they were unavailable due to a large private party but the hotel warned me in advance and, at my request, suggested nearby places to eat one of which I used.
