"Good hotel, very reasonably priced, close to the university of Manitoba and Superstore. To improve: blinds are definitely not blackout, which is challenging in spring when the sun is up early, and when your window faces the parking lot with extremely bright floodlights. Unfortunately it was raining two nights and there was a dripping sound outside the window that was so loud it sounded like someone was popping microwave popcorn in the next room. "Wonderful honeymoon"

"I particularly liked that the rooms were clean, renovated and well organized. The staff were helpful and friendly. The only issue I found was a shortage one morning of hot water but it appeared to be resolved on the morning we left. All in all it was good. Thanks Again!"

"The room was comfortable, but we would never return and would warn others that this hotel is obviously in a high crime area. We stayed on May 30th, 2026 and woke up to our back window smashed out. Our vehicle was in the hotel parking lot. My husband went to front desk to enquire about calling police and possibly getting the window secured somehow. They assisted in putting plastic and tape on window that fell off after 20 minutes and we had a 7.5 hour drive to reach home. When husband went back...

"The room was clean and comfortable. However, I wasn’t able to make full use of all the amenities during my stay. The included breakfast was also quite limited—only a coffee machine and cereal were available, which was disappointing."

"The hotel is not well maintained. The rooms are old, scratches in the head board and in the bathroom tile. The hotel is generally dirty (while our room was cleaned fairly well there was old room service dishes in the hallway for over 20 hours. The breakfast is not included in the cost of your room like other Holiday Inn Express’ it costs $15/person.
