This hotel is within walking distance of St Peter Port main district. There is a bus stop near giving access to all the Island. Breakfast was an excellent meal.

My visit on this occasion was to see my family and in particular my grandchildren.I needed a good room with excellent breakfast facilities and friendly staff. All those requirements were met. The curtesy lift to the airport was an added bonus.

Comfortable, friendly base for exploring Guernsey
Management and staff are excellent. Rooms are fairly comfortable, though amenities limited. Single rooms quite small, at least by American standards. Included breakfast very good and cooked to order. Hotel located near bus stop and not far from city center. Free pickups and drop-offs available if booked in advance. Feels almost like a bed and breakfast.

The Hotel Staff were fantastic and co-ordination with pick up from the airport made the trip most enjoyable. Situated perfectly for getting round the island and the rooms were fantastic.

Basic hotel let down by service and small niggles
Hotel is basic but adequate, although there are some little annoyances that would be easy to sort out - nowhere to hang towels in the bathroom, cold coffee at breakfast for example. Room was clean, bed was comfy and the shower was great. Service was poor, especially at reception where there was no staff member and nobody answering the advertised duty phone. Breakfast service was very slow.

Chambre familiale spacieuse. Seul bémol, située au-dessus de la salle de restauration, la ventilation de cette même salle était un peu bruyante et se déclenchait tôt le matin

Good hotel great holiday
A good hotel with excellent breakfast. The location is ideal for seeing the sights of ST Peters Port in foot and catching buses to other parts.

Ein sehr schönes familiäres Hotel im englischen Stil. Das Frückstück war sehr gut. Für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Handtücherwechsel täglich. DasPersonal sehr freundlich. Super auch der kostenfreie Flughafentransfer.

The property is in need of some work - our room had large damp patches around the window frame, stained carpet, shower riser and toilet roll holder both loose. Simple things to fix and they would make a big improvement. A shelf in the bathroom to put items on would also be a good idea - along with something in the shower cubicle as the only place to put anything is on the floor - hardly ideal. More worrying was the water running down from the upstairs room into the landing area. When we reported this, we were told it was a known issue and was apparently due to the person above not closing the shower door fully! The walls are thin and if you have noisy neighbours (as we did) this can really impact your sleep. The manager did speak to our neighbour but to no avail. If you're even a slightly light sleeper I'd suggest taking ear plugs. This B&B (not really a hotel as no food other than breakfast is available) is in a good location, lots of buses go near and it's a pleasant walk into town. The ladies at breakfast were friendly and helpful and breakfast itself was good quality and tasty. The offer for us to use their washing machine and dryer (with powder) was much appreciated - a thoughtful touch. The complimentary airport transfer was also a nice touch. There is plenty of scope here but some of the basics need improving.

Good Location and Venue
The Abbey Court has a wonderful family atmosphere. It gave me the impression of relaxed and happy staff who were not stand-offish in any way. The breakfast girls were helpful and chatty. Dogs were not a problem, and there were quite a few others besides ours. I really enjoyed it there.

Enjoyed my stay - staff very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and breakfast was good too. Little bit of a walk down to the town, but there is a bus stop very close where lots of buses stop. Complementary lift to the airport as well! I couldn't fault my stay.

Although not a modern property the hotel was kept very clean, the staff were all very friendly and helpful and with just a 10 minute walk into St Peter Port it's position made the tourist attractions easily accessible.

On an excellent bus route. Would have used the bar more if more guests had done so but this was obviously not the fault of the hotel!! Nothing was too much trouble for the staff.....breakfasts were excellent.....just a shame they didn't do evening meals.

Accueil compliqué , jeune employée pas très accueillante et ne sachant pas gérer les arrivées. Par contre, très grande satisfaction de IAN qui a été à notre disposition pour notre arrivée et notre départ. Il serait bien de mettre des rideaux opaques dans les chambres car réveil trop tôt à cause de la lumière du jour Chambres très propres.

Der freundliche Empfang und das sehr nette Personal. Das Zimmer und Badezimmer wurde täglich gereinigt und war sauber und ordentlich. Das Hotel ist ausstattungsmäßig etwas in die Jahre gekommen - aber für meine Bedürfnisse völlig ausreichend.

The staff were fantastic at this property and couldn’t be anymore helpful if they tried!! Breakfast was divine!! Very clean!! We would highly recommend staying here!

O hotel fica em uma ilha, devido a tempestade ocorrida na região o serviço de travessia foi cancelado e não havia condições de chegar lá. Fiz contato com Antecedência solicitando o cancelamento da estadia por motivo de força maior e não fui atendida, achei completa falta de respeito.

Local hotel with access to island's attractions
Family run comfortable smallish hotel near bus stop at the top of St Peters Port - a steep walk up or down to town. Accommodation was better than 2 star (excellent shower in bathroom) - smart and recently redecorated but homey. Dining room basic but good choice of breakfasts cooked to order and sunny courtyard garden at the rear. Bookable courtesy mini bus to/from airport was a bonus too.

Short waking distance to town centre.

Prima verblijf
Prima hotel. Goede prijs-kwaliteitverhouding. Lekker ontbijt, vriendelijke staff, al was de receptie niet altijd bezet. Fijne familiekamer, met twee aparte kamers en een badkamer in het midden. Niet te ver van het centrum en vlakbij een bushalte.

Very good location
Within walking distance of the town centre and on a good bus route. Staff were attentive and went out of the way to help. Single en-suite room was well equipped, very clean and attended to a high standard daily. Very good choice for breakfast and quick service. All in all would highly recommend.

Super séjour
Hôtel très agréable avec un personnel accueillant et souriant. Pour les visiteurs à pied, l'hôtel est un peu éloigné du centre de St Peter (environ 20 min de marche) et cela grimpe pas mal mais il y a un arrêt de bus à proximité si vous le souhaitez. J'y retournerai certainement lors de mon prochain séjour.

Personnel dévoué et accueillant
Avons passé un agréable séjour, chambre familiale spacieuse et fonctionnelle, personnel à l'écoute, et une navette de l'hôtel permet de revenir en ville avec les bagages, ce qui est bien pratique...

Weekend in Guernsey
Well equipped hotel in Guernsey. Rooms were very clean and well positioned on the ground floor - only a couple of stairs to negotiate with heavy luggage.

Volgende keer een ander hotel......
Guernsey is een absolute aanrader.....dit hotel echter wat minder. Op de kamer was weinig aan te merken: ruim, schoon, bedden oké, schoon sanitair. De minpunten zitten meer in de verdere entourage. Het is allemaal wat vergane glorie. Dat zit niet in het gebouw, maar in de eigenaar die er denk ik niet meer zo'n zin in heeft. Misschien gaat hij bijna met pensioen? Dat merk je het meest aan het wat sobere ontbijt, dat werd geserveerd door een tiener die er allemaal niet zo'n zin in had en de hele week in dezelfde pyama-achtige broek liep. Er is beneden ook een een zeer ruime zitkamer, waar je absoluut niet wil zitten. Het is of je teruggestuurd bent naar de jaren 80. Oude bankstellen en veel vergeelde posters. De krant die er lag was van 2 maanden ervoor, en verder liggen er alleen maar boeken over raceauto's: kennelijk ooit een hobby van de eigenaar. Er hing dagen een vergeten jasje over een stoel. Het werd niet opgemerkt, en het kan ze gewoon niet zoveel schelen. De eigenaar heeft niks met zijn hotelgasten. Volgende keer, zouden wij absoluut een ander hotel gaan uitproberen.

Welcoming small hotel
Situated at the top of the hill at St Peters Port with excellent bus and taxi access Abbey Court was perfect for my stay on Guernsey. Walking into the town following the tourist guide and visiting places of interest along the way made for a pleasant start to the day.
