"Nice location , price and ambiance BUT I had three simple questions when I checked in. The receptionist knew the answer to none of them ( had to check ) : would there be coffee in the morning ? Answer No, not til the restaurant opened at 830 am !!!( Old COFFEE Inn ?!? ). Was the restaurant still open ( closing at 8pm ...didn't know what they were serving ). Would the 8pm World Cup match be shown ? ( Mind you there was a sign out front advertising it ). NO, they only put the TV on for England...

"The only real problem is that they want payment from a card for everything, meals, a coffee etc. As a foreign country traveller, you pay a premium exchange rate and fees on every transaction."

"Enjoyed our visit to the Rose and Crown, Warwick. We were in the rooms on the square, which were well maintained, clean and additional equipment such as iron/ironing board (but no hairdryer) were provided. "Everything was as described and the people were very friendly and helpful. They were always available if needed but not overly intrusive. Close to the centre of Warwick and excellent selection of restaurants takeaways and pubs. We were waiting to close on our apartment in Warwick and were very pleased to have stayed here for almost 3 weeks."

"Took out 11 year old, but no on told us the hours that kids can go in the pool. They gave us towels and then told us to leave 2 minutes later because kids were not allowed at that time. Then in the morning no one seemed to know when kids were allowed in as were given 3 different times by different people. "It was a family get together and I only needed a place to sleep, breakfast was a bonus. Not the best area of town but that didn’t matter, however I am disabled and staff did help with my stroller with the steep stairs. It was cheap and clean and it was very good for what I needed. Eventually braved the rain and went to the property, no reply when I rang the bell. Looked on-line for possible other contact number to see that the property was closed. "Really awful reception into the hotel. Very dirty entrance area. Staff were okay once we started talking but initially not nice at all. Such a basic hotel. Carpeted room!?- why? And of course stained! No shower gel just an empty bottle. We regretted getting a room here the moment we pulled up to the hotel."

"We had an amazing stay, gorgeous shepherds huts in a lovely location. So nice to have the pub nearby! We stayed during the heatwave and our hut was particularly hot, the staff were so nice to prepare another more shaded hut for us for our second night, we really appreciated the gesture! Highly recommend!"
