We stayed at the Tru by Hilton St. Charles for a quick one-night stay to redeem some points, and overall, it was a solid choice. The property is immaculately clean and very well-maintained, which we really appreciated. The biggest selling point is definitely the location. It’s incredibly walkable, making it easy to get to local event venues and various restaurants without needing to constantly move the car. The only downside—and it’s a notable one—is the sound insulation. The walls and doors don't seem to have much "sound deadening" quality. We could hear quite a bit of activity from the hallway and even the movements of guests in the room next to us. If you’re a light sleeper, you might want to request a room at the end of the hall.

Traffic Noise drowns out a super Hotel.

Very nice hotel and location. If you don't like traffic noise, don't be in the backside of the hotel. This was a noisy room which unfortunately, led to only an OK stay. The room was very clean and modern. Staff was very helpful. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. We would return, but would only stay in a room facing the front the hotel.
