"Lovely, spacious room and stunning view over Balluta Bay. Hotel feels quite claustrophobic compared to other similarly priced hotels in the area and food choices quite limited. Some of the staff were excellent, particularly housekeeping and reception, but it was sometimes difficult to get someone's attention on the terrace or in the lounge. It felt more appropriate for business travel rather than our biannual trip to visit Maltese family, but we had a good stay nevertheless."

"Schönes Hotel, gute Lage, gutes Frühstücksbuffet. Service könnte noch verbessert werden, z.B. regelmässig prüfen ob noch Toilettenpapier im SPA noch vorhanden ist. Grössere Abstellkammer um die Koffern sicher zu lagern und nicht einfach im Gang unbeaufsichtig abstellen. Bauarbeiten nicht um 6 Uhr morgens starten, wenn das Hotel voller Gäste ist, sondern ausserhalb der Saison planen etc."

"Friendly staff allowing us to check in early , easy access with pin pads, excellent walkable location to st Julian and Sliema ! Air conditioning was very strong, lovely free coffee machine and selection of teas available."

"Der står beskrevet på Expedias hjemmeside at hotellet har pool. Der er endda billeder af en pool. Da vi kom, vidste det sig, at det var en offentlig pool der ligger på den anden side af vejen. Receptionisten anede ikke noget om, hvordan vi kunne bruge poolfaciliteterne og det måtte vi selv finde ud af. Lokale vandpolo- og svømmeskoler brugte poolen konstant og det var ikke muligt for os at købe adgang til det. Hotellet er virkelig slidt, og under singelroom, hvor jeg boede var der kun et lille...

"This was our 3rd visit to the Pergola. Love the location away from the main road and the view from the hotel across to the church and Gozo in the background is amazing. We had breakfast included and the choice was excellent. The hotel is part of a group called G3 and we have eaten at several of their restaurants and the standard is also excellent. Won’t be our last visit either."

"Great rooms,staff are very polite and friendly. Dislike, the breakfast could have been hotter but I've been assured that new warming plates are being ordered. Maybe the introduction of bacon....we left before, 7am to catch our flight.so missed out on breakfast, staff don't start until 7.30 am. No night porter /reception, for a 4 star boutique hotel not that professional."

"Positiv: - Super Lage, um überall hinzukommen und die Insel zu erkunden. Viele Restaurants, Promenade und Bushaltestellen in der Nähe. - Schönes Hotel, große Zimmer, sauber, tolle Dusche. - Schöne Dachterrasse mit Pool. Negativ: - Einige Schulklassen waren da, die sich beim Frühstück nicht so benommen haben und den ganzen Pool-Bereich eingenommen haben. - Generell zu wenig Plätze am Pool, aber ab nachmittags findet man meistens was. - Fernbedienung für Fernseher hat nicht richtig funktioniert....

"Het hotel ligt op een goede lokatie als je van feesten, bars, nightlife houdt. Het enige grote minpunt zijn de deuren van de kamers - die blokkeren geen geluid van buiten, dat betekent dat je alles hoort wat er op de gang gebeurt: elk gesmijt van deuren en gesprekken/dronken geschreeuw of gelach van anderen is erg hoorbaar en kan ervoor zorgen dat het je nachtrust verstoord. Verder is het schoon en is er werkende AC, wat erg fijn is (en nodig in de zomer)"

"The hotel was clean and the room was spacious which I appreciated. However, it would have made a world of a difference to me if they provided and not charged for hotel slippers. These should be complimentary in a 4-star hotel. One other improvement point would be if they provided bottles of water as well with the room, given Maltese water is too salty to drink. These are low-cost amenities that would have made this stay 5 stars."
