St. Julian's

"Even though we booked for one week we left after the first night. The place was dirty and ugly. It was isolated enough so as to be useless unless one has a car. The swimming pool was not fit for swimming. The breakfast offered was cheap and lacked variety. The amenities were substandard. The room was ugly and very poorly designed. The bedding was very cheap quality and did not fit the bed properly and the bed itself was extremely uncomfortable. The hostess was annoying and clearly did not care...

"The staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and we had everything we needed. The location was excellent for us to explore Valletta and Birgu. The hotel was perfect for us, the pool and garden area were lovely."

"A quiet place which was well maintained and easy to get to Valletta and the prehistoric site nearby as well as the coast"

"I was so pleasantly surprised staying here. While everything looks exactly like in the photos there is also such a welcoming and light feel to the place that made us feel immediately relaxed and comfortable. Everywhere was immaculately clean and tastefully decorated, the pool was fun to use the view of the dome from our room was wonderful. The staff working there were very genuine, warm, helpful and chatty. The dining area feels like a well lit mini art gallery and breakfast was perfect...

"Check in and check out process very well organized. Information coming on time. During the day several kind of hot drinks are available. Very friendly Team"

"Lovely unique hotel. Staff were amazingly helpful. Our room was clean. Breakfast was excellent. The rooftop terrace was absolutely wonderful with an honesty bar so you can have a drink while you enjoy the view. Only thing to be aware of is the shower gel and teas and coffees in the room didn’t seem to be replenished every day."

"This brand new hotel was absolutely perfect! Just recently opened and they couldn’t have been kinder or more helpful to a couple of stranded senior travellers. We were so lucky to have found them. The manager Winston was welcoming and kind. Amy planned the perfect afternoon out for us that ended up turning a really stressful situation(multiple cancelled flights) into one of our best days in Malta! The beds are comfy, the breakfast is good, and the pool is refreshing."

"Absolutely beautiful old house."
