"The fire escape route from room 501 takes you into a spiral stone staircase which is very narrow, dark in places and blocked near the bottom by bags of rubbish. This was reported to the hotel Guest Relations on the day of arrival but when checked the next few days, nothing had changed. This is a death trap for anybody who uses this fire escape route as per the instructions in the room folder and the fire escape plan in the room and corridor outside the room. "Great location, very helpful staff, good breakfast selection including hot items offered quickly! For a small hotel, the gym size and equipment selection was quite good! It was really a pleasure to have a room with a large balcony to spend relax time outside as well!"

"The room had everything we needed and was very spacious. The hotel itself has a snack time from 4-5pm where they serve cake and 6-8pm where they serve free local wines. There’s a rooftop and a brilliant view to sit and relax with a wine. Very thoughtful."

"Room was beautiful with excellent room darkening curtains, clean bathroom, super comfortable bed, yummy breakfasts either cooked or à la carte, great location yet quiet at night, free snacks and assorted beverages, elevator/lift and wonderful helpful friendly staff. The only thing as of May 23, 2026 to be aware of is St Ursula Street in front of the hotel is completely torn up and impassable to cars for roadwork, which two mornings caused loud noises at 8 am. "Really liked the location. The cruise ship types can have Valletta, the 20 something’s can have Sliema. For those who want something more interesting the Bormla/Cospicua neighborhood has a real ‚you are there vibe‘. It is also a short water taxi ride to Valletta and is on the bus lines if you want to explore other parts of the island. "Very clean, nicely decorated, modern room. Great breakfast, variety of hot and cold choices. Sadly no bar, or mini bar in the fridge but bottled water supplied daily, together with tea and coffee making facilities. Overall a lovely boutique hotel in a great location."

"La struttura è in ottime condizioni all'interno di un palazzo storico, dispone di una sauna e di una piccola piscina al piano seminterrato, e di un'altra piccola piscina e un bar sulla terrazza, da cui si gode di una vista incantevole. La camera era ampia e confortevole e ben insonorizzata, a causa del tasso di umidità necessario aprire la finestra. "The hotel is in a really great central location. Staff were friendly and it was very clean. Breakfast was basic and repetitive. The hotel advertised a roof top bar, this is not the case it’s a terrace with fantastic views but you have to phone reception if you would like a drink so slightly misleading. Hot water was an issue you had to run the basin tap for at least 5 minutes to get hot water to the shower. We had a king size bed but double bed linen which meant the duvet didn’t cover the...

"The communication was really good - we got all the check in info with plenty of time, and messages during our stay asking if we wanted new towels or a room clean etc. The location was also very good. The room smelt a LOT like damp. There was an extractor fan and a dehumidifier but they didn't really do anything. The bathroom was also absolutely tiny - I'm a small woman and I struggled. Overall, an okay stay but incredibly basic and I wouldn't want to stay here for longer than a few nights "

"Room was lovely and the balcony great after a days sightseeing to relax with a book a glass of wine and watch the world go by. Pool was a great extra used it a couple of times and both times were the only ones using it. Great waterfront location with very good restaurants within walking distance"
