"Really nice affordable hotel in Shanghai! Super clean room with a great view, very well maintained. Not super centrally located for travelers but worth it if you're looking for a really nice hotel for a decent value in Shanghai. Still a lot of really good food options within walking distance."

"Clean, spacious room. Housekeeping staff was attentive to our needs. The staff knew enough English for check in and to store our luggage after check out, but were not overly helpful (did not tell us about the amenities/services at the hotel, did not offer to help with car service, etc). Very close to M10."

"Hotel is overpriced, a bit dated, old carpet with stains…. Rooms are very small due to the nature of the building. Worst of all was the michelin star restaurant that served a 1000$ meal with undercooked fish and only thing was an apology and free desert to compensate for 3 fishes completely undercooked. Rest of our stay we dined outside and is not worth any michelin star.
Breakfast is very nice however."

"I came to Shanghai wanting to see real Chinese history, and the host recommended the East Wing of the Shanghai Museum, easy to reach by metro. The bronze gallery stunned me: three-thousand-year-old pieces so well preserved, and I stayed there a whole day. Back at the apartment, the room was clean, the bed comfortable. Dining in Xujiahui is convenient. The host speaks very good English, replies fast, and the museum recommendation proved right."
