Enjoyed our stay at the HUALUXE mainly due to the staff who were incredibly friendly and helpful. Our room was a bit dated and a bit dusty in some corners, but overall not too bad. Location was great, easy to walk into the central area with lots of restaurant choices!

Hotel facility is slightly old but clean and comfortable, a quiet spacious oasis. When I stayed there in Feb. 2025, their price was a good deal. I highly recommend if you are looking for a comfortable, quiet, convenient place to stay. If you are looking for hustle and bustle, this hotel is a little far from the Bund.

Huge comfortable room

I travel and stayed in a King room by myself - the room is HUGE with lots of space to walk around or lay my luggages in the floor. The bed was very comfortable.

Spacious and comfortable room. Good fitness centre and large pool. Itbia right above the Hengshan Road subway station which ia very convenient. Located in a quiet area but not far to walk to busier parts of the French Concession with more cafes, shops etc

I love the style of the hotel and we even got an upgrade. I think staff try to be helpful but it didn’t quite hit the spot. It was summer and the air conditioning is not as consistent as we would like so sleep wasn’t so good. Room style was great. Love the garden area. The visit was just sickly hot for us so affected our experience. Breakfast was complementary, not sure if it’s due to the upgrade and we enjoyed the breakfast- had a variety of healthy and normal options. We will probably stay again if we come to Shanghai but not in summer next time.

One of the worst stay in my hotel experience. Hotel and amenities are fine and nice but hotel refused to turn on AC while the rooms are scorching hot, humid and stuffy. I get it, its april and still cool outdoor but indoor is a separate story. I was waking up covered in sweat, drenched and yet they still refuse to turn on the AC. Their reasoning is that they would have tovturn on the central AC and would be the entire floor, not just my room, which doesnt make sense to me. Other guests can choose to turn off if it is cold. Would not choose this hotel again as there are plenty quality hotels available in shanghai

Sehr schöne, grosse Zimmer zum Innenhof mit Bäumen, Pflanzen und diverse Wasserbrunnen. Man hörte sogar Vogelgezwitscher inmitten von Shanghai. Das Zimmer und das Bad waren sauber und gut eingerichtet, mit Badewanne und separater Dusche. Es gibt auch einen Balkon zu draussen sitzen, nur was es um diese Jahreszeit etwas kalt. Check-in und Check-out sehr schnell und effizient mit sehr freundlichem Personal.

施設が古く、部屋の設備不具合が3箇所もあり、部屋を交換して貰いました。 朝食は、残飯みたいな感じで、補充もかなり遅く、仕方なく残り物を食べました。 IHG系のホテルで期待したのですが、残念です。 立地は良く、静かな環境ですが、値段の割にサービス、客室は3星クラスです。
