"on arrival, the property stunk and had bad odour of mice or rats but we did not see any, we found nail clipping on the floor and looked not well cleaned. On the first evening, people arrived at the property and showed us that they also booked the same property and questioned our booking, was awkward and embarcing to my wife and kids. "A really spacious flat, 2 toilets which is a huge plus. The kitchen was super well stocked, full size fridge which we don't even have at home! Very close to the beach (watergate bay). You do need to travel into newquay (either by car or by bus which stops right outside) in order to go to a shop for food. The beds are very soft (feels like older mattresses) which is really the only bad thing I can say about the place. Would definitely stay again!"

"We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at High Cove! The location is fantastic—it is wonderfully quiet, family-friendly, and offers easy access to the North Cornwall countryside while serving as a great base to explore the rest of Cornwall. The only minor downside for us was finding the exact holiday home within the park, as the instructions weren't quite clear. Since it was our first time there, it would have been really helpful to have clearer identification or a small map pointing to the exact plot. Overall though, it's a lovely spot and we thoroughly enjoyed our time!"
