The staff was really friendly and lovely conditions of the room! The location is quite tricky, a bit far from the centre or the famous beach, but still walk distance! Really lovely garden and restaurant for breakfast :)

Gem of a Hotel in Cornwall

Great Hotel with the best staff. Room was stunning with a sea view . We even went for a dip in the heated pool. Breakfast was very tasty and such big portions .

Well priced, the room was on the top floor meaning no WiFi and little to no mobile service. Comfy bed and sofa, nice large TV. Room was clean and spacious, clean.

Excellent balcony views, very comfy

Stayed in the hotel itself. In the bigger King suite. Very comfortable bed, great view, breakfast was tasty, spotlessly clean. Could do with improvement but didn’t take away from our stay: floorboards from above creaked a bit (to be expected in a Manor House), no evening meals in restaurant. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely clean and comfortable rooms full of the essentials. Internet a little feeble in our room but great in public areas. Staff amazing and if a tad reserved waiting to be engaged.

Great comfy hotel

Excellent and comfy....nice location. Poor phone signal if on the 02 network. Internet was great in public areas but poor in the room. Great comfy beds, and an excellent powerful shower. Great space and lovely cushions. Staff were helpful when engaged. Great o cation short walk to the beach and close to the twin of Newquay for shopping.

Good hotel would benefit from minor improvements.

An excellent hotel, but could do with minor improvements. Serving meals in the evening would make it 5star. Breakfast is very good and service is first rate. Room 12 is a good room, but the en-suite needs improvement. The washbasin is really tiny for the size of the bathroom, and there is very little shelf space. The supply of toiletries was limited and not of the quality that you would expect for the price of the room. The coffee machine seems to have been little used, and having used it, it’s because the taste of the café au lait capsules is poor. We didn’t use the pool but it is a bonus provision.

Hotel and area met up with expectations as I had stayed there in 2009. Within easy reach of Newquay town centre and lots of attractions like The Eden Project.

Awesome Hotel

Wow wow wow

Check in was really efficient, lady was do friendly. Hotel is imacculate , not a sign of ANY dust or cobwebs. Right on the beach, i stay at many hotels and this is one of the best, especially for rhe cost.

The location was the best part of our stay. The room was very spacious and we didn’t feel cramped at all. The shower/tub combo with a shower head was a bit odd in that it had a half enclosure of glass that did NOT keep the floors from getting wet every time we used it. Would most likely return but might look at the apartments/villas instead

I indulged myself with a luxury room including a lovely window-corner and a great bathroom . Walking to the centre /busstation along the probably busiest street in Truro is the only negative aspect of this location .
