"I chose the hotel because of the lovely grounds and rooms looked nice and we were not disappointed. I requested a ground floor room which was a very good size and so much storage space. Carpets were deep pile and clean as was the whole room. We had a lovely view of the grounds. Bathroom had a good size walk in shower with easy controls and again was very clean. "Modern facilities with old-fashioned charm. The rooms are a good size; we had a view of the garden which was very pleasant. All the staff were cheerful and helpful. The restaurant for breakfast and dinner is decked out in crisp white table cloths with smartly dressed waiters. Both the garden bar and the terrace at the front of the hotel with beautiful views across the bay are both lovely places to enjoy a drink. The outdoor pool looked good though we didn't use it. "The hotel is beautifully located with fabulous views, the only downside was the trek to the nearest bus stop, or rather the trek back uphill. I cannot speak highly enough of the staff from Debora in reception all the way to the charming folk who kept our room clean and well stocked with essentials. The waiting staff always had a smile and nothing was too much bother for them. We enjoyed the food with only one exception which was a Sunday roast and that was swiftly dealt with.. The pool and...

"Expedia charged for beach view room but we got a back of hotel room where staff shifting cages of laundry at 7am every morning. Hotel was nice enough, but you clearly pay for stunning views."
