"Superb. Seamless check-in and out. Spotless room, comfortable bed, powerful shower, nightlite in bathroom. We didn't have breakfast, but ate dinner in the River Grille, and the food was delicious. The service was exemplary also. Only very minor gripe was that they had XO cognac at the bar, and no proper brandy glasses. Barman actually asked if he should put the cognac in my coffee!"

"The room is good and of a reasonably high standard. There are however two major challenges. The room was on the top floor which from the car park is three flights of stairs. A lot when you’re carrying several large bags and clothes for a wedding. The second big issue is the hall lights on a sensitive room sensor. There is no way to switch this off or lights off. "It was such a cozy place. The room was new, clean and spacy. It located right in the market street so it was easy to walk around and find something to eat. It was not too far from the city center and the railway station."

"Excellent location for Clifton village with bus stop right outside the hotel making easy access to Bristol town centre/station. Spacious room, spotlessly clean though main building is a little tired around the edges. Friendly approachable staff. Breakfast was good, but some of the buffet options did run out. Great value for money and happy to recommend."

"I loved my short stay here with my two dogs - my room overlooked the square and had all the amenities I needed. I slept well and it was well situated to explore everything and be straight out in the buzz of millennium square and the waterways in the morning. "Excellent choice of breakfast items and very good evening meal."

"The room was roomy and comfy, but there were some dusty spots on the surfaces in both the bedroom and bathroom. The cleaning staff could definitely use some more care . I was a little startled to find something curly and hairy on the bathroom counter when I checked in , but it turned out to be just an old eyelash. Additionally, the bath towels were old and stiff. On the positive side, breakfast was very good, with plenty of hot and cold, sweet and savory options to suit everyone’s preferences."

"If you like cheap hotels and enjoy windows that aren't soundproof, next to a busy road, beds that are saggy, bathrooms that are dirty, rooms that are in need of repair, and an approach that smells of urine. This is the hotel for you. If you don't like those things, try any other hotel ever. The selling point for the hotel is the parking, right next to Cabot Circus, but that is literally all it has going for it."
