"Positives: The location and Parking are excellent. The Reception, and Bars are styling & Comfortable. But, some communal areas are tired (example the entrance from the car park), the garden is overgrown in parts and its seems their are sraff shortages (the staff seem good, but under pressure). There is building work going on, and there is evidence of this as you enter through the entrance from the car park. There is a very small lift and no sign for the stairs! "

"We were disappointed that the pictures advertising the Walton Hall Hotel & Spa were quite deceptive. The actual hotel is not at all connected to the historic Walton Hall, and the hotel wing and room that we experienced were very worn and in need of a renovation. The pool and fitness room were listed on Expedia as amenities, but these facilities are not owned by the hotel and require payment for use (after registering our complaint, we were given free passes). "We stayed at Heythrop Park over the Easter weekend. The hotel is beautiful and big. Our room was in a perfect location near in the North wing and we were very close to their spa facilities. There was no information saying we had to check-in at a different location. This is what we were informed by reception at North wing. Never managed to figure that out!!
