August Stay in Sorrento

Francesco was very communicative throughout the check-in process. His B&B only has a few rooms so he can be very attentive to his guests. The room itself is exactly what you need for a stay in the Amalfi Coast. The place is also located only a few minutes away from the city center and train station, but that small distance makes a big difference in terms of noise levels.

Lovely stay in great location.

We had a lovely stay in Sorrento at Giacomino. Very comfortable room and excellent location without being too central in the noise. Host was really helpful and friendly and assisted us with printing out tickets. The only thing we were slightly confused about was breakfast. We were provided with good tea and coffee but as we were only given croissants the 1st morning, not sure if this was just a kind gesture or breakfast is provided. Would recommend staying.

The staff was amazing. So friendly, accommodating, amazing with children.. the list goes on. The location was right outside the busy area but super central so we could enjoy a bit more of a quiet environment with a local feel yet walk to the tourist areas to enjoy the shops and square. The room was super clean and updated. The breakfast was large and delicious. I would definitely stay here again upon returning to sorrento. We’re thankful to have had the opportunity to stay here, short notice. Thank you to the staff for everything!

Must Stay!

Had an amazing stay at B&B Giacomino! A quant bed and breakfast in a great location. Walkable from the Circumvesuviana train and port of Sorrento, with easy access to the main square and center of the city. The check in process was very seamless, and we were allowed access to our room early. It was very clean and comfortable, with updated amenities that made it feel far superior than other hotels in Italy. The breakfast was delicious (coffee made in front of us, fresh fruit, croissants, etc.). Giacomino was very accommodating and hospitable. Across our 2 week trip in Italy, this was by far our favorite accommodation. Highly recommend!

This is a good place to stay if you are travelling on a budget and are looking for quality service and convenience. The rooms are very clean and basic, with controllable A/C, a nice shower, in-room TV, hot water, and a mini fridge. Staff was very helpful and courteous. Breakfast is 5 euro, and includes a continental style spread and coffee options. It’s also very close to the train station, so convenient if you are arriving late and tired, as I was! The downsides: it is a little tricky to find (Google maps does not take you there directly) and the property manager had to call me over from the balcony (they are on the third floor of a building slightly off the main road); and, you can definitely hear other guests during breakfast and noise from outside, but it’s not bad. Overall a good experience and would recommend.

Francesco is a super host

The host, Francesco was really a super host. He was always there for all our questions. We received some advise and the B&B was close to the center. If I come back to Sorrento I will definitely stay again in this property.

This BNB is a gem…real close to the train station and has an elevator. The rooms are beautifully decorated, plenty of hot water, the AC worked great and the bed was really comfortable. Francisco is so nice. I highly recommend this BNB,
