Amazing stay! The staff was very accommodating and polite, giving all around great service. The food and wine were both world class; their 8x8 tasting menu is the best meal I've had in Italy.

The room was comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. We dined at the restaurant one evening, and it was a delightful experience. Quite fancy. The wine tasting was enjoyable, and we bought some wine for our vacation. Great views.

Wow - what a find!

I should start by saying I never planned to stay at this hotel. Our flight was delayed overnight & we had a last minute panic looking for hotels late in the evening. I feel like we had won the lottery when we had booked this hotel & got to see in the light of day what a beautiful space we were in. We arrived at the hotel very late - 11:45pm. Whilst the kitchen was closed, the small group of stranded passengers from the airport were all hungry. The team pulled together some beautiful anti pasti boards for us all. The rooms were a pure delight - the bed sheets were so soft - it felt like we were sleeping in butter! A great selection of toiletries & even wine for sale in the room. When we woke up in the morning & saw our surroundings we were truly blown away. Rolling hills with the vines growing around us. Just WOW! Breakfast was served in the restaurant - it was stunning in there. The food was cooked to perfection. Honestly - I wish we had gotten there earlier, or could have stayed longer to really enjoy everything this hotel has to offer. Feels like a real hidden gem! In the end - I have never been so grateful for a flight delay. My only (tiny) grumble, was that it was advertised we would get a free welcome gift, but when asked - I was told no gift. It would have been nice to have a bottle of wine included in the rate. Perhaps it was because we booked it so last minute!?

Room is okay, staff is very helpful and friendly but restaurant is really mediocre, it was the most expensive dinner on a 2 week trip and was the most average and even mediocre in some dishes
