"Great location for train, bus, and tram. But inside - Plain white corridors and rooms made it seem like a hospital ward! No chairs, only a stool. Noisy from the street below until after midnight."

"Lovely quaint hotel. Staff attentive and helpful. As per other reviews yes there are no lifts second floor rooms are a slight hike up. Yes the rooms could do with upgrading but for what you pay for a night and an ease of access to the port no complaints from us. We had a family quadruple room, good size but really warm room, no air con small windows but lots of road noise when open"

"The place is very basic and comfortable. The room was very clean. We weren't able to adjust the temperature in the room which we would have liked. We did all at the desk but it's possible that language differences made our request useless. It's a great base for Normandy sightseeing."

"The hotel has very small rooms. We booked a room for 3 and now we know that you can have a kids bunk bed above an adult bed. The room has a heater unit that only went down to 17 degrees. There was just enough room to walk round the bed and you have to be careful when you get out of the bathroom as if somebody is sitting on the edge of the bed you will get them. Otherwise loads of parking and room was clean. If for 1 person it is fine."

"Really enjoyable stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was excellent. Clean and tidy. The hotel is well placed between Ouistreham and Caen making it ideal for visiting the local area. Shops are conveniently situated neaby. Would totally recommend this hotel. "

"When we arrived the owner greeted us and showed us to a lovely room we had booked, we only stayed the one night en route to our holiday destination and found the room clean and very comfortable . we were given lots of local information to find a bistro in the local town of Aunay sur Odon. The breakfast was well received and presented in a pleasant manner by Thom who was charming . we will have to come again next year and well worth a visit especially for a qiuck over night and as in our case...
