"We enjoyed our 2 nights stay here. We were attending the New Wine festival at Shepton Mallet so needed somewhere to sleep! We didn't use many of the facilities as we literally got up & left for the day but there were plenty of facilities available! We slept like babies in the comfy bed! Lesley was a very helpful hostess & communicated often. She's even posting me back an item of clothing we left behind! The accommodation was comfortable, there was parking available too! "We had a lovely two night couples break at Kimbers Farm. The shepherds hut is so comfortable and just the right side of luxury rustic! Possibly the comfiest bed I’ve slept in away from home. The wood fired hot tub adds a sense of fun and is easy to use. We also enjoyed cooking outside (gas hob available inside!). The shower/toilet “block” is great, well equipped and clean. "We initially walked straight past reception as it wasn't immediately obvious, the receptionist was hidden behind the very high desk and certainly wasn't the most helpful - I don't think she wanted to be there! The room was ok but the lack of light was an issue when trying to read in bed and it was very hot and stuffy (obviously not helped by this weather, but it took me a couple of days to be able to open the window.) The bathroom was lovely and clean with toiletries provided and plenty of towels. All in all it was an OK stay, but I wouldn't rush back."
