"My son and I stayed here for 2 nights to rest up after busy days at the Monaco Grand Prix. It was a terrific decision. The hotel is situated on the very edge of a mountainside looking down over Monaco and along the Mediterranean. The views are spectacular. "Friendly staff, bilingual but also helped us learn som Italian. Nice hotel away from the busy flow of Ventimiglia, but closer enough to be accessible. As many have noted, the hotel sits atop a mountain-- spectacular views-- so the drive up (we used taxis or the bus) is "fun"! We enjoyed the pool, breakfasts on the terrace, and the turtles. A nice spot to get away and perhaps better with ones own car--next time."

"This hotel was absolutely amazing and felt truly luxurious. The price is worth it for the views alone. I booked it mainly for the beach area and the infinity pool, and it did not disappoint. I stayed in a room with a balcony and ocean view—the balcony was huge, with incredible views of the water and all the boats docked nearby. The location is also perfect, with easy access to towns like the village of Èze and Villefranche-sur-Mer. I would go back to this hotel in a heartbeat. "

"Das Zimmer war sauber und groß, Personal war freundlich, Frühstück war gut. Am Pool war nicht so viel Platz, das sollte man bedenken. Das Essen im Restaurant hat uns leider nicht so gut gefallen, dafür waren aber die Drinks von der Bar sehr gut. Wir sind mit dem eigenen Auto angereist und haben viele Ausflüge gemacht, von daher war die Lage auch sehr gut für uns."

"I really wanted to like this place but the negative reviews were correct. The good: the pool was nice and the views unbeatable. The room size itself was also pretty big and there was parking available. The bad: the room legitimately smelled like sewage the entire trip and the staff had the same response “we will send someone”. But their “fix” was to spray something and hope you don’t come back to complain. Apparently a room that smells like sewage is acceptable. The owners of the property need...

"Beautiful apartment, with lovely view. Sauna and jacuzzi unexpected bonus. Alot of stairs to reach entrance but well worth the effort. Lovely shower room and great breakfast. Would certainly recommend if visiting Dolceacqua."

"We stayed at Hotel Normandy for three days and have a wonderful time. The owner is personable and friendly and the staff was EXCELLENT. The room was clean, comfortable, think blankets and excellent air conditioning. The shower was the best I've had in all of France! Wonderfully hot water with a string pressure.
