"The hotel was clean and quiet, the staff were very helpful and kind, the breakfast was very good. The location was excellent. We had two major issues :
1- The bathroom shower did not have a secure cover so whenever we took shower, the bathroom was flooded with the shower water. Also we came close to falling out of the narrow tub while standing. "The room was very clean. We did not have a free breakfast. It’s more of a hotel that happens to be attached to an old castle so it’s not like the other castles around Ireland. The staff were very nice and accommodating. The food at the Knights club was very good. The shower was very nice. It had a rain showerhead and a handheld. They provided shampoo and shower gel. "It's a beautiful hotel and the dinner we had at the restaurant was excellent. We were also very happy with the shuttle service to and from the airport. However, for the price we paid, I expected air conditioning in our room, or at least a circulating fan to use. The one window opened only a sliver and it got pretty stuffy in our room fairly quickly. That was during May; I can't imagine what it would be like during a summer heat wave."
