"Need a perfect place for R&R? If your answer is YES, the answer is definitely the Alas Resort & Spa. It is at the end of a quiet road near the village of Elia. It is totally self-contained with a sand beach, rocky beach for sunbathing, a fantastic pool with a bar nearby, an excellent restaurant, and a beautiful spa. The rooms are great (ours was small but faced the Mediterranean). The staff was totally accommodating and nice. It was a great choice for us and can be for you too."

No roster for the bread and just ok at best. They should work on improving the food quality. "Good location in central Sparta, just across the town's main intersection from both the archaeological museum and the main plateia with its restaurants. My room came with a balcony that gave a fine view over the city centre. My single room and its bathroom were both on the small side, but perfectly adequate for just me.
