"Lovely stay , very accommodating staff ! Kept our luggage while went cycling & even arranged for us to have the same room on way back ! Despite the size of the hotel and amount of guests at breakfast it was surprisingly quiet at night! It’s slightly outside of the centre but we enjoyed the walk & got Uber back ! Breakfast was a great selection too ! Will definitely be back!!"

"I have to give huge credit to the team at Occidental Hotel Ljubljana for how they handled a tricky situation Due to a personal emergency, I arrived two days later than my original booking, and understandably the hotel had already released my room. Despite this being entirely on my end, two staff members went out of their way to help (regrettably I did not get their names properly) - they made several calls to secure me a room at another hotel for that first night, while ensuring my remaining two nights at Occidental were fully sorted. On top of that, they refunded the nights I'd missed and even upgraded my stay with complimentary breakfast. It was such a thoughtful, above-and-beyond gesture that turned a stressful situation into a genuinely positive one. This kind of service is rare, and I highly recommend staying here - the team truly goes the extra mile for their guests"
