"No issues"

"Hotel was great overall. One negative was our room was above some sort of event space and had incredibly loud music until 1am. No warning of this and could hear every word of the songs and the folk singing - couldn’t keep my four year old asleep, I’m seven months pregnant and my mother in law was with us. Surprised we were given a room above such a racket. Didn’t complain to reception as not their fault but if was booking again would definitely check if any events on first. "

"For me, this hotel isn't quite perfect - but the positives far outweigh the negatives. The real negatives are pretty minor - but mainly it is about the ipad controls for the room. It's gimmicky and a bit pointless. It's never going to be quicker to log into an ipad, find the section for say lighting and then adjust it - than just flicking a switch in the room. I guess the idea is that this is modern, but it seems a bit daft when you find there are no USB outlets in the room. I guess I don't mind...

"Position out of Edinburgh still gave easy access to Glasgow or Falkirk for the horses. The hotel was clean and useful for our stay in the area. Easy access to Edinburgh with public transport close by. Plenty of parking."
