Historic and atmospheric, beautiful location in the traditional old town, spacious restaurant and pier access, very convenient for ferry access and sunshine on terrace all day round. Food options were extensive but more expensive than comparable restaurants in the area, and it would have been nice to have a freshwater pool to cool down in. Spa and restaurant staff were fine, not overly friendly, but reception staff were excellent - their local restaurant and gelato recommendations were superb!

I found the hotel to be extremely basic, charging a premium for its "location". The surrounding area is filled with low-quality restaurants and souvenir shops catering to the daily influx of tourists. If you’re looking for a relaxing stay near Lake Garda, I recommend choosing a different hotel.

Really nice hotel right on the waters edge in Sirmione. We stayed for 3 nights in a room with a lake view. If you’re taking a car then drop a line to the hotel who will arrange parking at a large car park about 300 meters from the hotel. It’s about £10 per 24 hours and you get a complimentary chauffeured ‘stretch’ Golf Buggy which delivers you and any luggage direct to the hotel. If you travel ‘light’ it’s only about an 8 minute walk. The ‘Lake View’ part of our room was an added extra which I wouldn’t bother with again as you had to climb out your bedroom and look over a brick wall to see the lake and over the 3 days we saw the lake morning, noon and night. Can’t decide whether room was a bit dated or fitted in with the decor of the hotel, bit of unsightly mould around the shower but other than that room was very clean, (maid was daily). Biggest issue but not the biggest deal in the world was the lack of plug sockets, 1 behind the TV (being used by the TV) and the only other one in the bathroom (!). This made charging phones etc a bit problematic. Hotel staff were helpful and super friendly. Included ‘Free’ Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choice but omelettes and poached eggs etc came at an additional price. The outdoor pool and spa is in a separate building opposite with the pool being a bit tight for space, you’d do well to just turn up and get a sun-bed, yet alone 2. There are however alternative places to sit, the spa guy/girl are happy to get you drinks from

We had a wonderful time and would stay again. It’s very conveniently located - as close as you can get to the castle and easy walking to other areas. The square out the front has lots of restaurant options, the staff are helpful and the spa is also great!

The one positive is location. Does not provide towels for the lake which is odd for a lakeside hotel. Shower was a strange configuration which lead to water everywhere. Didn’t feel like a four star hotel overall

Great location and views from our balcony. Unfortunately our toilet leaked off and on during our stay. We were located on the 2nd floor in the hotel that held the spa and we couldn't bear the smell that was being emitted from there to access the foyer and the lifts. We didn't even access this area due to the smell. Breakfast was plentiful and again the views from here were amazing.

Arrived on a Sunday and initially we were redirected by the local police as they were not allowing cars to get any closer to the area where the hotels are located. We tried alternative routes and did not find any and next time we arrived at the roundabout we explained that we were staying overnight and allowed us through. We did not realise that the hotels have a separate parking area with a shuttle cart to take you to the hotel. We had difficulty getting the QR code for the parking from the Hotel but once we got that it was easy enough. This should be highlighted when booking on your site and would make the experience much more relaxed.

We LOVE Sirmione, we have been a few times but our first time to this hotel. Firstly, I didn’t realise the pool is HOT and sulphurous, stinks of egg throughout the hotel and pool area. Perhaps this was my mistake as I thought it would be a regular pool to cool down in the summer heat. The pool area felt a little grubby too. The room was basic and clean which is all that really matters. Staff were nice. Location is perfect! The staff on reception were very helpful, as were the breakfast staff. Buffet was good with decent options! We wouldn’t return but overall our experience for one night was fine, I expected a higher quality/standard throughout the hotel just based on the external appearance and perfect location. Thanks!
