"Check in was difficult just due to the layout of the hotel. They don’t allow guests to use the luggage cart, so an attendant has to go with you. This was helpful at check in due to the confusing layout, but at check out, we just needed the cart. No need for assistance and the feeling to need to tip again for something we could easily do ourselves.
The added 16-18% to food and drinks isn’t gratuity to your servers and we as guests are encouraged not to tip at this establishment. We still tipped everyone, in addition to paying the added percentage as well. It feels very wrong not to tip, and adding 40% to our bill from each meal or drink, was completely unexpected and really off putting.
A few lows: the hot tub was cold when the pool opened on Saturday so we didn’t get to enjoy it as that was the only time we could go during our busy trip. The beds were almost unbearably creaky with even a slight move, room service steak was undercooked, chicken strips were dry and overcooked, everything besides the chicken wings were either under cooked, over cooked or cold when we got it.
Ending on the highs: all staff we interacted with were wonderful, all were friendly and helpful, location of hotel was perfect, room size and layout is great, smooth check out. Would stay again, but would not eat or drink on property due to the additional fees charged and encouragement not to tip, it’s just awkward not to tip if the service is good."
"Staff not very welcoming- look like they rather be anywhere but there. The man that helped me was especially not nice. I asked for a low floor at reservation and when I got there he would only offer me 10th floor! And he repeated it many times like I don’t know English. The room was dated, the rug dirty and I had to wipe someone’s feces off the side of toilet seat cover- really gross. 1 roll of toilet paper and 2 towels only- I had to ask for more. Also had to ask for luggage rack. Took over an hour to order food because no one is really working together at this place so no help when you call the rude guy at front desk. The lady that brought the food was really nice and super helpful. Our favorite person was the parking lady. I didn’t get her name but she had all the answers and was super helpful and nice to us. She also offered us the free parking for handicap that the hotel doesn't tell you about or ask and offer. She also had our car ready at 6:30 because she remembered our appointment time. Her service was excellent! Don’t let her go, she’s the only nice person there!! was very disappointed in this hotel and won’t stay there again. I really tried to like this place but the vibe is bad. It was close to the hospital so we stayed there but I won’t do that again. Get it together guys! Hotel guests are like house guests you treat them nice and offer all your good service. Your food service girl and parking lady were the only nice people in your hotel.."
