"a very good value for money option for those wanting to stay near glasgow. Reasonable commute by car to the city (1/2 hour or so) - suggest you go the more Country route. Local area isn’t significant, so suggest you eat in the city. Our large room got a lovely sunset, whilst sitting on a large raised couch. Quiet. (though the birds can get noisy for a bit - nothing the property can do about that though). Sheep in the garden ! Recommended."

"This is a basic guesthouse, which is not worth the money we paid (£117 a night). This was with a shared bathroom. The receptionist was friendly and the beds were comfy to be fair, but this place is overpriced for what you get (or don't get). Location is convenient for Edinburgh and there is a train station close, and there was ample parking, so those are the pluses."

"-The comfiest bed of my whole trip.- It was a bit of a walk from the train station, but made up for that by being close to a lively part of the city and decently close to another train station that got me to where I needed to go during my stay. Also, very clean and comfortable accommodations."
