"Really excellent hotel, blending traditional and modern. The room was very large and comfortable, and the staff were so helpful with recommendations and bookings around Kyoto. The only downside was the location, which is around 25 minutes walk to the centre of Kyoto."

"Kyoto is a big city, so lot of walking if not by the station. the bus was very useful. maybe if there was a rental bicycle at hotel I would definately use it. hotel was fine and will use it again. "

"The hotel is very well located across the street from Kyoto station (main train station in Kyoto). Most sites of interest are easy/fast to get to from Kyoto station. Rooms are small (not a surprise). The hotel is worth the cost. I would definitely stay again at this hotel."

"Not only do they provide yukata to use for the bath, the onsen itself was lovely, the water was always the perfect temperature and the staff was wonderful. The rooms are cozy but there are spaces to put larger pieces of luggage beneath the bed. Overall, it’s a short walk to some major destinations (Kyoto Station, Aeon Mall, Kyoto Aquarium) and has a convenience store…conveniently right next to it! Highly recommended."
