"Love the location. It was in a quiet neighbourhood but still very close to transport and food options. It was such a great area to wake up and find a little coffee shop and wander the street early. The room was a good size for our family of four and had everything you needed, particularly the washing machine. The beds were also really comfy. We would come back and stay here again"

"Great location, super modern and clean, staff was very friendly and even had a birthday card for my daughter and let us use a Polaroid camera to make memories. They saw us dressed up in kimonos and came outside to take pictures of us. Even told us where to pose so you could see the beautiful temple in the background. Overall, this was a beautiful place and I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend"

"This place is a hidden gem! Location was beautiful overlooking the river and mountain. Our favorite was sitting on the balcony in the morning and evening taking in the view. The hotel is also within walking distance of the busier shopping and tourist areas, and metro stations, but far enough away from the action to be peaceful. The apartment had everything we needed and more with plenty of space for the 4 of us. Our 5-night stay was too short but made so much easier with the convenience of...

Top Shiga Prefecture Hotel Reviews

Nohga Hotel Kiyomizu Kyoto

Nohga Hotel Kiyomizu Kyoto

10/10 Excellent
"The staff was really friendly and they were able to not only accept my luggage, but it was already in my room before arrival. The staff was very helpful whenever we had questions, and the available amenities like forgotten toothbrushes, razors, and combs was great. Based on my booking, I was provided with some spending cash that we used at the rooftop bar. There are food options on site that made life a bit easier if we didn't want to go out or go far. The location was convenient to buses, and the train."
