"Very good location right in front of Ruifang train station. Perfect to use as a base to explore Jiufen, Pingxi and the surrounding area. A lot of hiking opportunities at your fingertips.
The hostel is spotless, cleaner than most hotels we've stayed at in Taiwan! For once the pictures are representative of the location!
Sound insulation seemed okay. Couldn't hear anything but the relentless rain. Host was very responsive.
If you're into bubble tea there are about 8 or 9 shops within 100m of...
"Cute and cosy! Really convenient little place to stay with a lovely comfortable room. The views were great and location just a stone throw from the main areas. Seemed like one of the best places to stay in the area. The room is spacious and quiet - we really enjoyed the bathtub with a view of the mountains and the little balcony offers amazing views too. "
"The facility was run by a family and the place felt like grandma’s country house- cozy and comfortable.
It offered a great sunset view and the terrace was a great alternative on a hot day as the old road was packed with tourists and I couldn’t find seats with a good view.
The furniture was decent and the room was pleasant despite the older building facade.
Would recommend to anyone who is considering a night stay in Jiufen!"
"Very poor experience, no electricity socket in the room, no air con that can be adjusted, very noisy/no isolation, windows facing restaurant inside, queue for breakfast with no access, not great buffet. Old hotel, poor facilities for very high price. I highly not recommend. This is not a 300usd/night standard. "
"The hotel is clean and easy to navigate around. The surrounding area have multiple convinient stores and restaurants within 5 mins walking distant. The room is a bit small but it is understandable for Taipei. The staffs are friendly and helpful; however, it is a bit difficult to communicate with some staff if you do not know Mandarin. Not every staff members at the lobby can communicate effectively in English."
