"We stayed here due to a wedding at nearby Bruisyard. It was a lovely stay and I couldn’t fault it, a beautiful setting full of nature and a very well preserved property. Liz was very accommodating allowing us to drop our luggage and car off earlier than check in; we also came down to a very very nice breakfast with something for everyone. "
"Owners very helpful and pleasant. Ample parking and short walk to accommodation. Dinner was excellent both in choice and presentation and taste, Breakfast there was a lot of various choices and again cooked fresh to order. Overall an excellent venue."
"All the rooms named after birds . Makes a change from numbers. They also changed rooms for me to accommodate my disabled wife. Staff were very helpful and very polite. Nothing was too much trouble."
"Spacious, well equipped rooms. Good selection of options on Restaurant menu. Also great value for money.
Only slight negative was the bed was quite hard compared to our preferences and the pillows were too thin providing limited support for a side sleeper. "
