"This hotel is tired at best. Carpets are old and worn (but nicely vacuumed). There’s structural trash in the stairwells and outside and just plain trash trash outdoors. Our door didn’t open with the key card (the staff was helpful with replacement). There was a single bar of soap in the bath rather than one for the sink and another for the shower. The toilet didn’t flush well. The Indian dishes at the restaurant were quite good; we would return to the restaurant to eat. The restaurant staff was pleasant and friendly. The breakfast offered no yogurt or fruit, the cranberry and one of the orange juices labeled in the dispenser were apple."

"The building was not secured at an entry that was not a monitored entry. "

"The door to the bathroom had holes, was broken off the hinges, the bathtub didn't have a plug, and the fridge looked like it had been beaten with a hammer. paint in the bathroom was peeling off. Even the room number was partially missing from the room door and it really didn't close properly unless you banged. Beds need replacement, but better than we expected. On the plus side, the room was clean as heck, the fridge was larger than usual and worked well, and the staff really were sweet people and very welcoming. "

"Our room was very clean and spacious. We had everything we needed either in the room or provided by the staff. Breakfast was excellent- lots of choices and very fresh. We did not use the pool or hot tub during our stay. I would definitely stay again when in Douglas. "
