The I-5 corridor in northern California can be pretty bleak in the summer months, but you can still find an oasis here and there. This one is west of Redding, maybe about a half-hour off the Interstate. Drive west on highway 299, past Whiskytown Lake and look for a sign for Crystal Creek. This multi-tiered waterfall surrounded in green is just the thing! TRAVEL TIP: Have a long, overnight flight coming up? Clean room and responsive staff. The TV in my room wasn't working when I arrived and they sent soneone up right away and took care of it. I also had a question about the Fitness Center and I sent a text. They responded immediately. It's a great place to stay!

Loved that is seemed really new and clean. We were close to the conference we were attending and it was a quiet neighborhood. Would rent again in a heart beat. Super sweet place to stay.
