"This Hilton Hotel is superb! The reception desk people were so helpful. The room was beautiful with a balcony overlooking the cricket ground, which is why we booked to stay there. Beefy's restaurant on the upper ground floor of the hotel was exceptional both for dinner and breakfast. One thing we would have appreciated in our room was a small refrigerator to keep wine, water and milk cold"

"This Hotel hit all the spots for our small intimate family wedding for our daughter. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our rooms were perfect. The gardens were beautiful and well looked after a perfect setting for photographs. The food in the evening and at breakfast great and plenty of choice. A big thank you to all the staff."

"This was my second stay at this hotel. Very nice hotel, staff very friendly, free parking, lovely garden area, very clean and spacious rooms. Didn't have the breakfast because I had to be out early. This has to be one of the quietest hotels I've ever stayed in, really calm atmosphere from staff and guests. I'm booked again for July for two nights and would highly recommend."

"This felt like an hotel in decline. The communal spaces were brightly lit even in the evening and therefore there was no atmosphere. The corners of the shower were not sealed properly and had black deposits in them. The bathroom lights kept flickering and although a maintenance person made several attempts to change bulbs, and thought he had solved the problem, after a while they started again. One of the only two lifts kept failing forcing those of us who could, to use the stairs. The...

"It has been awhile since I have stayed at an Accor hotel. I did not understand that there is an Ibis and an Ibis budget, I thought they were one in the same. I won't make that mistake again. No air conditioning in a heat wave, but a small inadequate desk fan. One type soap to cover hair, face and hands. Nicely painted room but flooring was strange, half nice and half very aged and cuts in wall above the toilet. Shower was nearly non-existent, it was so tiny and a part of the room, an alcove in...

"The hotel in certain area’s is being renovated which didn’t effect our stay even though we had to pass through part of it to get to our room . Wasn’t a problem. Our room was immaculately kept . Housekeeping would have extra work to do keeping areas clean but they are keeping on top of it . Well done . Breakfast was great with a good choice . I managed to get parked on the front which was handy . We had an excellent stay . Would definitely stay there again."

"Unfortunately the hotel pumps in am air freshener that is overwhelming. There was no air-conditioning so even with a fan the room was very hot. The room had a frosted sky light over the bed do it was very bright early morning. There were only 4 channels on the TV and you had to pay £5 to use the pool. The hotel is quite dated"

"Lovely setting, great welcome, food superb, staff friendly and helpful We had the suite (kingfisher) which was an excellent room except for a radiator being stuck on in the bathroom. The lady in charge (lovely lass) managed to get it sorted as the outside temp was up in the 30’s!!! If I have any criticism of the room, a little use of bleach would have gone a long way but please don’t let that put you off. The place is very very good.
