"Lovely quiet location, superb room in the cottage opposite the main pub. Food was lovely and catered for my gluten free requirements. We only stayed one night but would love to go back with our dog and check out the local walks for a weekend."

"The staff were very friendly and the room was very clean it just lacked air con and with a tiny bedroom window regardless on the heating not being on there was hardly and airflow within the room. Couldnt fault anything else had a lovely stay"

The food was excellent and the dining room service was excellent…..evening meal and breakfast. The views were incredible, the location was beautiful. "We stayed at The Fleece for a couple of nights. Our welcome as a pleasant professional one, despite the bar and restaurant being busy. Our room and the linen was very clean, and although quite warm, there was a fan provided that did the trick. We ate in the restaurant one evening and the food was good, and the breakfast, which was included, was delicious. Lovely beer garden/ courtyard to enjoy a relaxing beer. "Location, traditional feel."

"What a delightful cosy rooms with showerrooms. Comfortable beds, with well insulation blinds/ curtain for the strong summer sun. Room was copl at night, and good bathroom facilities. We were going to be late, and staff rang to check on our progress. Staff waited until we arrived and showed us our rooms. Breakfast was included but the choice and want we were entitled too was a not clear. Cooked breakfast meals very delicious and tasty."

"The accommodation was OK considering the room was above the karaoke bar and facing the street where loads of people were drinking loudly. Minor problems included an amply shower gel dispenser in the shower."

"Very friendly staff, nice big room (called falow), excellent breakfast, excellent evening meal staff very helpful sorting out a taxi for us, the room was warm due to heatwave so needed to keep windows open so we did notice some noise from the kitchen fans but this could not be helped. Very good car parking. Overall an excellent 2 day visit and would highly recommend."
