Klana Resort Seremban

Easy check in. Room is big and clean for a family of four. Basic amenities are provided except toothbrush. Wifi is terrible, even with password given we failed to connect the wifi.

New refurbished room. Spacious, cosy and nice view. The light in the room was a bit dim Breakfast is ok with western and Malaysian cuisine. Overall staying there is comfortable. Live band at night. Also u can try their ATV too. Its near the park as well.

We cannot understand why the gym and the spa is not operating on a Saturday. Breakfast selection is not good compared to Royale Chulan where our other friends were staying and the rates there were lower. The room carpets are dirty and there were no bedroom slippers. We were given a room not as per booking although they changed it for us.

A lot of work to do!

I stayed in Klana several times in the early 2000s. Company stopped using the hotel around 2005 as its condition was deteriorating. However, reading about the renovated rooms, my wife and I decided to give it a shot. Regrettable choice. Yes, the rooms why renovated, but why not completely? New bathroom, new furniture, new carpet, but the doors and doorposts were still the old rotten ones. Cleanliness (most important aspect!) was NOT ok. There was dust in multiple places and a LOT of it under the bed which we found out when something rolled under it. The bed was comfortable but the other guests slammed doors, so our sleep was only so so. A few other bummers: NO ALCOHOL SERVED. It has become a Muslim hotel. Nothing wrong with that, but they used to serve alcohol and it wasn't mentioned on the booking website nor on their own. Some staff was really unfriendly Breakfast was the least of all the breakfasts we had in Malaysia. Lots of dishes tasted if they were reheated from the day before. Swimming pool water was kinda mirky and not inviting for a swim. Lot of work to do to get it back to what it was. Do the internal renovation PROPERLY and give the outside a proper paintjob (really looked a bit decayed). Clean the rooms properly, improve the breakfast, teach the guests to respect other guests rest and improve the breakfast. Not likely to go back there

The receptionist staff was very helpful. I have booked 2 rooms which were 1 family suite and 1 deluxe. But upon checking in the distance between 2 rooms was far. So the staff had kindly help to upgrade the room 716 which a little nearer to other room 718. But unfortunately the room 716 has a problem with aircond . the room was not cold even though the aircond temperature was raised. Whole night we are unable to sleep. That was the only issue that i faced during my stay at Klana Resort Seremban..

Family room isn’t a family room

Don’t bother to take family room, you better off taking 2 standard room instead. Shower too small, not kids friendly, no lounge/couch, not enough hooks in the bathroom, no rack to hang your towel, very bad drainage, clogged up most of the time. 5 seconds in the shower and it’s already flooded. Room not stocked up for family, 2 items available for each, need to request everything eventhough booked for 4. Even toilet roll provided were used ones, like 1/3 of rolls left. Very pitiful.

We arrived early and the receptionist allowed us to check-in. Run down hotel and still ongoing refurbishment. Swimming pools wise, the facilities are excellent. My children so happy with the facilities.

On the first night they checked us into a room with a ceiling crack just under the central air-con, water leaking overnight, room floor all wet! Though they changed room after first night, the housekeeping services was terrible, always something missing/not replenished, like missing coffee/water, missing floor mat etc. after housekeeping. Worse still, on the last day, we turned on the "Clean Room" light for our room, we came back at night but the light is still on but room was not cleaned! The very worst part is when we complained, they accused us of turning on the "DND" light which of course we did not! When check-out, I asked the Customer Service (Sandy) to contact me about this bad experience, one week later no news, then I went to their official website and left feedback for them to contact me, another week later still no news. This "resort" is not serious about customer service and does not care about customer complaints. Avoid at all costs.

Good place to stay for a short visit

Very new and nice, recently renovated hotel. Very spacious. Gave complimentary mineral water. But the toilet was disappointing as the water outlet in the shower area didn't flow very well, which led to some minor flooding. Overall 6/10
