Me and my sister had an amazing stay here during our first few days in Seoul! Ms. Lee and her daughter were such amazing hosts. They went above and beyond the call of duty and treated us more like family than guests. It was honestly heartbreaking when we had to leave. They were just that awesome!
The guesthouse is ideally located. Close to the main road but tucked away in a quiet street. It is only a two minute walk from Sinchon station with lots of restaurants and shopping.
The guesthouse itself is a traditional Hanok home with all your necessary amenities. We stayed at seperate room and it was enough space for the two of us. Since it’s a traditional home the place doesn’t have central heating for the winter but the room is well equipped with floor heating and bed warmers so you won’t get cold. Also, the bathrooms are outside so you will have to brave the cold when you need to take a shower. But, it wasn’t really an issue as the bathrooms are heated and the steam will warm up the space in no time. Lastly, the walls are paper thin but hey, if your in Korea you’ll mostly be exploring anyways and it’s all part of the experience of living in a traditional home.
And more than anything, the hospitality was just perfect! Ms. Lee with her daughter helped us out so much, since it was our first time in Korea. They even checked up on us even after we checked out and exploring other parts of Korea.
I highly recommend especially for newbie travelers
